Giddy up! Punchestown is almost upon us and once again Arnotts department store is the fashion partner for the style stakes. On Tuesday evening 250 guests descended on the legendary Henry Street store for the launch of the Arnotts Best Dressed Lady at Punchestown and were amazed at the specially decorated set that brought the outdoors in.

The Punchestown Racing Festival, the social and sporting highlight of the national hunt calendar, will take place from 3rd – 7th May this year and the search for the best dressed will be held over the first four days of the event with different judges every day tasked with finding a lady with ‘winning style’.

This year’s panel of judges are Lisa Cannon on Tuesday, Sile Seoige on Wednesday and Brendan Courtney on Thursday with a guest judge on Friday to be announced at a later stage. Stylish ladies will be delighted to hear that the overall best dressed winner will walk away with a magnificent €10,000 fashion voucher for Arnotts, while the daily winners will win a €1000 Arnotts fashion voucher along with a variety of other gifts.

Guests on the night included TV3’s Sybil Mulcahy and Elaine Crowley, Celia Holman Lee, Tamso Doyle, jockey Kate Harrington, Karen Houlihan from The Pink, chef Andrew Rudd, stylist Roxanne Parker, Avila Lipsett and her mum Therese and jewellery designer Catriona Hanly who’s busy opening new lifestyle stores at Lough Rynn and Kilronan Castle hotels.
