The 2nd Annual “The Irish Fashion Exposure - Spring Summer 2011” took place on Friday at the Stephen’s Green Hibernian Club and was a beautiful showcase for Irish designers from The Design Centre current collections.

Brendan O'Connor, of The Saturday Night Show and Life magazine, took time out from his busy schedule to welcome guests while Marietta Doran, of Channel 4 Racing, took over and compared the show. Guests enjoyed a lunch and received gift bags courtesy of Clarins and Thierry Mugler.

A number of Irelands leading designers including John Rocha, Philip Tracy, Roisin Linnane, Irwin & Jordan, Claire O'Connor, Heidi Higgins and Sean Byrne were featured and Aishling Kilduff of the Design Centre in Powerscourt Centre was the driving force behind these big names.

A dual aim of this event is also to raise funds for the Order of St. Lazarus Ireland, a charity engaged in humanitarian work with children and the invalided. This year the nominated charities who will be the beneficiaries of the event are The Dublin Rape Crisis Centre and The Leprosy Mission. These projects are often the most in need and often the most overlooked.
