The DIT Alfa Romeo Fashion Show has firmly established itself as one of the leading events for emerging fashion talent in Ireland. The theme this year was Romeo & Giulietta - A Bad Romance, which celebrated the arrival of the newest Alfa Romeo, the sporty Giulietta.

The show at Vicar Street was the biggest production to date with over 70 DIT students from all campuses involved. The show and entertainment performances wowed the audience who were impressed with the on-stage secret garden where elegance met risk and love challenged lust!

Andrea Roche was there, spotting potential new recruits for her AR Models agency, along with Sarah McGovern, Kamal Ibrahim, Bairbre Power and Maria Fusco. The winner of the student fashion prize this year was Umit Kutluk, a name to watch. All proceeds from the show were donated to the DIT Foundation scholarship fund and many of those in attendance went on to the after party at Krystle.
