The fashion brand Whistles has been beloved by women for many years, and no doubt a new crop of fans came on board since they discovered the Duchess of Cambridge wore the label on occasion. Old devotees and new admirers alike turned out in their droves for a special ‘Style by Substance’ event hosted by Irish Times fashion editor Deirdre McQuillan at Brown Thomas recently. Whistles boss Jane Shepherdson was the special guest and guided the fashion followers through a runway show of the brand’s latest collections.
