The 10th Annual UNICEF Business lunch was hosted in the Shelbourne Hotel recently and it was encouraging to see the men and women in suits support such a worthy cause.

Legendary sports commentator Micheal O’Muircheartaigh was the special guest speaker at the event which hoped to raise over €50,000 for UNICEF's 'Believe in Zero' Campaign. Every day 22,000 children die each day from preventable causes and UNICEF works in over 150 countries, doing whatever it takes to take that number down to zero by giving children the essentials for a safe and healthy childhood.

Aer Lingus received the inaugural UNICEF 'Corporate Partner for Children' Award. The airline’s Change for Good partnership (which has been running for 14 years) has raised over 15 million US dollars for UNICEF. For more information, visit www.unicef.ie.
