The annual RHA Gala Dinner took place recently, in advance of the opening of the Annual Exhibition. This year’s RHA Annual Exhibition has a twofold significance in that it will be the first exhibition in the newly refurbished RHA Gallagher Galleries (on Ely Place) and also the first time in living memory that its traditional summer show takes place during the winter.
The 178th RHA Annual Exhibition will run until 13th December, and will show recent work in the disciplines of painting, print, photography, sculpture, drawing and architecture. The majority of the work is for sale.
The RHA Annual Exhibition is the longest running and largest open submission exhibition in the country. Admission is free.
