Behind you!

I went to the Liberty Hall Theatre last night for the final performance of the panto Beauty and the Beast. Directed by Simon Delaney and written and produced by Karl Broderick of Anthem Productions, the jokes came thick and fast with something for all ages.

The cast incuded TV3's Alan Hughes (who co-produced), presenter Louise Loughman, boy band Final Four, Brenda Donohoe, Jonathan McCrea of Spin 1038 and P.J. Dunleavy.

As it was the last performance, after a long and extended run, many well known names attended to celebrate the last night. In the audience were Twink with her daughters Chloe and Naomi, TV3's Martin King and Colette Fitzpatrick, George McMahon of Fair City fame, Ireland AM boss Debbie O'Donnell and Evening Herald fashion editor Bairbre Power.

After almost 2 months of presenting Ireland AM and working on the panto, Alan embarks on a relaxing cruise with Royal Caribbean later this week. However, plans are in full swing for next years production of Cinderalla.
