The doors re-opened at 23 Rock Hill in Blackrock Village just over a month ago under new management and carrying the name Blackrock Cellar above the door.  Its return to business has been warmly welcomed by locals and regulars of the former Oddbins store.  Leading the strong return to business is jubilant new owner, French native, Joël Durand.  Along with his Italian wife Katia Compagnoni and their team of four staff it is further demonstration that entrepreneurship is thriving.

Located in a prominent position at the top of Blackrock Village, the independently owned Blackrock Cellar implies exactly that which its name suggests with over 450 wines available with special mention of its stock of organic and biodynamic wines from small independent producers.

Supplemented by over 130 Craft Beers, including award-winning Irish and International brands such as Eight Degrees, Galway Hooker, Trouble Brewing, O'Hara’s, Porterhouse, Dungarvan Brewing Company, Porterhouse, and Sierra Nevada; more than 100 specialist and mainstream brands of Spirits; all share shelf space with favourite beer brands from around the world.
