Boodles at the K Club

At the event in the K Club were: 1. Sara Jane and Nadine Wai – O’Flynn; 2. Stacey Fields and Norman Pratt; 3. Ann Marie McManus and Jody Wainwright.

Boodles have been putting a smile onto people's faces for over two centuries and there was no exception at the inaugural Boodles Ladies Day at The Luxury Collection, a 3 day extravaganza of an intoxicating blend of antiques, fashion, style, luxury and automotive haute couture, which took place at The K-Club last weekend.

The highlight of the autumn social calendar, Ireland's most stylish ladies and their partners donned their finest fashions to compete for a spectacular Boodles Raindance Ring, a diamond ring with a value at €10,000 and a second prize worth €5000, courtesy of The K Club. Kirstie Wainwright, wife of Boodles MD Jody Wainwright, and Dee Breen of Harvey Nichols made a most fashionable judging panel and had the task of short listing the most stylishly dressed ladies at the event. With glamour in abundance, 12-finalists were chosen before the top 3 were decided upon.

Ann Marie McManus of nearby Straffan walked away with the spectacular Boodles Raindance Ring. Looking stunning in Chanel, the expectant mum (due on Christmas Day) and wife of Kieran McManus most definitely stood out. Second place went to Debbie Hart, who travelled from Douglas, Co. Cork to the event. Jewellery designer and daughter of Mary Davis, Rebecca Davis, certainly knows her jewellery and was a close third as she set a high bar with a beautiful Ben Di Lisi dress, complimented by pieces from her own collection.

Amongst the recognizable faces in attendance were Norma Smurfit, Special Olympic's Mary Davis, PR Man-about-town Norman Pratt, socialites Sara Jane and Nadine Wai O'Flynn, Barbra Connell and Kildare Rose Denise Healy.
