Former Miss Ireland Amanda Brunker (and now best selling author with Champagne Kisses) and TD Conor Lenihan were on hand to officially launch the newest edition to the Captain Americas chain in Tallaght. With the same great food and atmosphere as the Grafton Street branch (which we’ve all come to know and love) the newest edition to the Captain Americas family is sure to be a huge success.

The recently opened 200 seater restaurant promises fun for everyone. With a heated beer garden and full bar and cocktail menu it is sure to attract a fun loving crowd. The ten screens scattered around the restaurant ensures it is a great spot to catch any sporting event.

Captain Americas is quickly gaining a reputation as the home of live music in Tallaght. There is a live band to entertain you on a Monday night and karaoke on a Wednesday gives you a chance to entertain the crowds / shame yourself. For the brainiacs amongst you there is also a pub quiz every Tuesday. This family friendly restaurant is the ideal place to take the kids at the weekend and with face painting on Saturday and clowns on Sunday they are sure to keep themselves entertained.

Among the guests were model Rachel Kavanagh, Paddy McKillen, Karena Graham, PR queen Joanne Rochford, Sara Kavanagh, Krystle boss Conor Buckley, Fergal Breen, Marie Hughes & Greg French and singer Mickey Jo Harte fresh from starting his Musicool Workshops with Brian Ormond.

Located just beside the Luas stop in the brand new Tallaght Cross Complex it is very easily accessible. So why not grab the kids or a group of friends and check out the hottest new restaurant in town!
