Rock chick

The BudRising music festival continued on full steam over the weekend. I attended the festival club in the PoD / CrawDaddy complex on Friday evening, with the added bonus of a full BBQ. Nothing like some flame grilled food to set me up for the night.

Guest star later in CrawDaddy was the living ledgend that is Siobhán Fahey, who is formerly of Bananarama and laterly Shakespears Sister. Siobhán, who was staying nearby in The Camden Court Hotel, was spotted hanging out in the Lobby Bar, accompanied by her mum and friends, in advance of her appearance. Performing her newest solo music, Fahey's still got it as she rocked the small venue to it's core. It has also to be said that she looks amazing. A close source informed me that she is at least 46. Rock on sister, you look 20 years younger.

In attendance on the evening were TV presenter, and now London resident, Brendan Courtney, Deborah Allen and Sarah Fleming with photographer Yvonne Kelly, club promoter Ian Lambkin, Maurice Hayes, model Bruno Neville and publicist Emer O'Reilly.

BudRising wraps up tonight with performances by The La's at The Ambassador, Weezer in Vicar Street and British Sea Power in The Village, among others.
