The European
premiere of LINCOLN, which took place this week in the Savoy Cinema, Dublin in
aid of the Wicklow Hospice Foundation, was certainly a star studded affair. Director Steven Spielberg was in attendance
along with cast members Daniel Day-Lewis and Sally Field.
Guests who attended the premiere included President Michael D Higgins and wife Sabina, Bono and Ali Hewson, The Edge, Rosanna Davison with parents Diane and Chris de Burgh, Shane MacGowan and Victoria Clarke, Barry McGuigan, Oliver Callan and Norah Casey, amongst many others.

Attendees tucked
into Lindt chocolates at the screening and enjoyed a post premiere ball at the
Burlington Hotel where almost €200,000 was raised for Wicklow Hospice
Foundation, thanks in no small part to the patronage and support of DDL and his
