Autumn at Arnotts

Peter O’Brien launched his fourth Autumn Winter capsule ladieswear collection for Arnotts.
The collection will be available exclusively at Arnotts as part of the Love Irish Design initiative at Arnotts.

The Arnotts new season launch sees the arrival of brands such as Jill Stuart, D.Efect, 2ND Day, Orla Kiely, Lennon Courtney, Lulu Guinness and Pour la Victoire.

There were 300 guests in attendance including presenter Kathryn Thomas, Aisling O’Loughlin, stylist Ingrid Hoey, actress Aoibhinn Garrighy, Emer O’Reilly Hyland, presenter Diana Bunici, Sharon Smurfitt, Lady (Anna) Oxmantown, Jenny Buckley and of course Peter O Brien, Sonya Lennon and Brendan Courtney.

Guests enjoyed a Jacob’s Creek wine reception and bespoke Arnotts AW13 cookies. The event was live streamed on the Arnotts website and image.ie live tweeted and blogged throughout the fashion show.

Pandora AW

Danish jewellery brand PANDORA launched its Autumn Winter 2013 collection in Dublin’s Cliff Townhouse last week. The new collection was arranged in themed displays throughout the stunning Georgian style venue depicting the Enchanted Forest of Autumn and a cool, crisp Winter Wonderland, highlighting the key trends for the coming season.

Nail artists provided charm inspired designs whilst a masquerade themed polaroid area gave guests the chance to capture the evening with their own personal photos. Irish musician Emily-Rose Conlon entertained with her dulcet tones whilst Pimms, prosecco and canapés of spiced beef with rocket pesto and goats cheese en croute were served.

Guests included Pamela Flood, modelling pieces from the PANDORA collection; Brendan Courtney, Dr. Eva Orsmond, DJ Ruth Scott, author Marisa Mackle and stylist Maria Fusco.

On your Marks

Ireland’s top fashion media descended upon Marks & Spencer’s Rooftop Restaurant in the Grafton Street store for the unveiling of the store’s elegant autumn winter collection.

Super stylist Catherine Condell produced the up tempo and directional show, which focussed on the major trends for the season including Modern Military, Demure, 21st Century Remix, Arts & Crafts and Gothic Romance. Guests were also treated to a sneak peek of the gorgeous new Rosie for Autograph lingerie collection which was recently launched in store to great acclaim.

Former Miss Ireland Olivia Treacy, who flew home from LA for the show, looked regal as she showcased the hottest looks for the new season, while top models Irma Mali, Teodora Sutra, Sarah Morrissey and Karen Fitzpatrick also turned heads as they took to the catwalk.  Key pieces from the show included the iconic Autograph digital print dress, an Autograph military coat and a per una leather dress, which looked super on model Yomiko Chen.

The FROW was full of fashion savvy guests including Celia Holman Lee, Cathy O’Connor, Ingrid Hoey, Angela Scanlon and Courtney Smith all enthusiastically discussing their favourite looks from the show.

Among the other guests were TV3’s Alan Hughes, Glenda Gilson and Debbie O’Donnell.  Stylish duo Bridget Coffey and Liz Greene attended on behalf of the British Embassy, while Louise Heraghty from 2FM caught up with the ever-glamorous Lorraine Keane and Lisa Fitzpatrick.

Ribbon Rouge Shoes

Ribbon Rouge, Navan’s premier boutique, hosted a stylish evening of Lambrini sparkling wine, cup cakes and fabulous fashion to celebrate the launch of the new ‘Shoes at Rouge’ range.

Over-seeing the evening were style sirens Sybil Mulcahy and Triona McCarthy who guided guests through the key trends and styles for the upcoming season. With internationally known labels such as Oky-Coky, Anoushka G, Bernshaw and Marcelino there will be something for every discerning fashionista.

Since first opening its doors in 2005 Ribbon Rouge has become a destination boutique for dedicated followers of fashion. This little gem carries many exclusive brands and continues to source the most chic couture designs for its discerning customers. Under the expert eye of proprietor Joanne Mallon the new shoe boutique is set to be the go-to place for footwear.

To ensure the latest trends and styles are being stocked at Ribbon Rouge Joanne travels to London, Paris, Milan and New York to attend their noted fashion shows every season. It’s no surprise that the combined experience, style and expertise of the RR team along with the chic designer lines has lead to a cult following around the area.

Over 200 of Dublin’s movers and shakers turned up to see Marks & Spencer unveil its autumn winter collection in the urban surroundings of The Warehouse on Barrow St.

Top Irish stylist Catherine Condell, produced the show focusing on the major trends for the season including 60’s Pop, Retro Glamour, Masculine / Feminine, Luxe Craft, Winter Berries and Two Tone Graphics.

Irish models Olivia Treacy (who was home from LA for the show), Alison Canavan and Thalia Heffernan showcased the range which included key items including the iconic Autograph black lace dress, M&S Woman stone blazer, per una Speziale firework dress and the colour pop Limited Collection cocoon coat.The front row was filled with TV’s finest including Sonya Lennon from Off the Rails and Collette Fitzpatrick, Sybil Mulcahy and Alan Hughes from TV3. Xposé queen Debbie O’Donnell was there with mum-to-be Aisling O’Loughlin and her partner Nick MacInnes.
