The 17th International
Fashion Lunch in aid of the Rape Crisis Centre was hosted by Miss Candy at the
Westin Hotel, Dublin last week. Guests
included Rosanna Davison, Rebecca Burrell, Ken Doherty, Pamela Flood, Gerald Kean
and Lisa Murphy.
Getting off
to a flying start the event was sponsored this year by Virgin Atlantic and
was expanded to the stunning Banking Hall – the exclusive ballroom at the
5-star Westin. The event commenced
with Virgin Atlantic’s signature “Red Head” champagne cocktail reception in The
Glass Atrium, before guests are treated to a sumptuous five course meal, served
with exclusive wines.
The First Lady of Irish musical Theatre, Rebecca Storm, performed some of her Broadway musical hits with her band before the lunch commenced, while Eurovision winner Paul Harrington and his group entertained the guests into the evening. Irish designer Dawn Fitzgerald showcased some of her latest creations including her latest bridal wear from her new store in Powerscourt Townhouse.
