Smelling of Roses

The beautiful surrounds of the Solomon Gallery were thronged recently with people looking and feeling summery for the opening of their latest exhibition, 'Paintings and Gardens'. Celebrity horticulturist Dermot O'Neill was the guest of honour and officially marked the opening of the show.

Looking blooming amazing on the evening were TV producer Bill Hughes, Count John McCormack and Peter and Deirdre Morgan with their beautiful daughter Tess.

Among the works on show were those of Reza Macdougald, whose botanical works were admired by all. Reza's mother, Suzanne, owns the gallery, and was looking elegant as always. Another big draw were the works of Dame Elizabeth Blackadder OBE, who is also a member of the Royal Academy.

In other news, I was disheartened to discover that singer Hazel Kaneswaren and model Brian Fallon have, in fact, seperated, as I mentioned last week. The couple have said that it is by mutual agreement and they remain close. Apparently the VIP magazine 'at home with' spread was arranged months ago, and is an unfortunate coincidence.

Question of the week: Who is the multi-millionaire music legend that bought his friend a plane ticket - using his air miles? He obviously keeps the star treatment for himself.
